Hair, Balloons and Crafts - in that order

I had to make a third for the rodeo. Here's what we came up with.

My latest sewing project!

I had originally made a valance for this bathroom, but EVERY time I walked in, it screamed "WRONG!"

So, I bought this really pretty fabric for another project, but decided to use it as a window treatment for my bathroom. I love how they turned out.

I sewed it 100% without a pattern - just my creative brain at work! I am loving this sewing stuff!

For those nay-sayers out there (and you know who you are...) who didn't like Kyla's hair short, as seen in the below pictures... You'll be happy to know that Kyla's hair is in the process of growing out.

It's "crazy" hair, as we like to put it and requires A LOT of attention now, just to keep it from going all over the place, but it is indeed, growing out.
