Hair, Balloons and Crafts - in that order

A good hair day! I had to memorialize it for all to see.

Sidenote: KM's hair curls in the humidity, but the results aren't always this cute.

One of my new hidden talents, now passed along to my daughter.
She made her very own set of puppy dogs.

Rodeo Day at Elisan's school is this week.

The assignment?
Make a stick horse.

Yes... even, though we have TWO stick horses around here,
I had to make a third for the rodeo. Here's what we came up with.

Introducing "STARLY HEART"

And, she swings!

Question: How many three year olds do you know that can swing themselves?
Answer: One and her name is Kyla Mae

My latest sewing project!

I had originally made a valance for this bathroom, but EVERY time I walked in, it screamed "WRONG!"

So, I bought this really pretty fabric for another project, but decided to use it as a window treatment for my bathroom. I love how they turned out.

I sewed it 100% without a pattern - just my creative brain at work! I am loving this sewing stuff!
